Ingredients
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. margarine, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Mix in large bowl with a spoon the white and brown sugars, egg, then margarine.
- Stir in flour, soda and salt.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls, about 2 inches apart, on cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Let cookies cool on cooling sheet.
