Ingredients
- 1/2 cups Oats, Blended Until Smooth
- 1/4 cups Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 3/4 cups Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
- 1/4 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 6 Tablespoons Honey Or Agave
- 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 4 Tablespoons Buttermilk
- 1/4 cups Butter, Softened
Method
- Combine all ingredients until a stiff dough has formed. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour. Roll the chilled dough on a floured surface and cut with little animal cookie cutters. Bake on a cookie sheet in a 350°F preheated oven for approximately 7-10 minutes. The cooking time will vary based on the size of the cookies. Remove the cookies from the pan and cool on a cooling rack. These little cookies are going to fill my little girl's Easter eggs, and I can't wait for her to discover these during her first Easter egg hunt!
