Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate wafer crumbs (or graham crackers)
  • 14 cup butter, melted
  • 4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
  • 8 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares, melted
  • 3 eggs
  • 23 cup sugar
  • 13 cup amaretto liqueur

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350*.
  • CRUST - Mix crumbs and melted butter together and press on bottom of a 9" springform pan.
  • FILLING - Beat cream cheese in a large bowl at low speed until smooth.
  • Slowly add melted chocolate, eggs, sugar and liquer.
  • Beat until blended.
  • Pour over crust in springform pan.
  • Bake @ 350* for 45-50 minutes, until set.
  • Run a knife around the edge of pan and allow cake to cool in pan.
  • When cool,refrigerate at least 4 hours.
