- 2 lb. boneless top round steak
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 3 medium green peppers, coarsely chopped
- 1 c. thinly sliced celery
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 c. beef bouillon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- hot cooked rice
Method
- Partially freeze steak, then slice across the grain into 3 x 1/8-inch strips.
- Brown meat in hot oil in a large skillet; add next 7 ingredients.
- Cover, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
