Ingredients

  • 2 lb. boneless top round steak
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 3 medium green peppers, coarsely chopped
  • 1 c. thinly sliced celery
  • 1/2 c. diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 c. beef bouillon
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • hot cooked rice

Method

  • Partially freeze steak, then slice across the grain into 3 x 1/8-inch strips.
  • Brown meat in hot oil in a large skillet; add next 7 ingredients.
  • Cover, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
