Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. onions, chopped
  • 16 oz. can tomatoes
  • 1/4 c. A.1. sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 c. cooked macaroni
  • 1/4 c. Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Brown ground beef and onions in large skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Pour off drippings.
  • Stir in tomatoes, 1/4 cup A.1. sauce and chili powder.
  • Bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium-low and simmer (covered) 10 minutes.
  • Stir chili into macaroni.
  • Garnish with green onions and cheese.
  • Makes four servings.
