Ingredients
- 6 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese
- 6 oz. white cheese (Swiss or Monterey Jack)
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies (and juice)
- 5 eggs, beaten until frothy
Method
- Grate and mix cheeses together.
- Line bottom of a 9-inch square ovenproof dish with half of the cheese mixture.
- Spread green chilies and juice over cheese mixture.
- Layer remaining cheese. Pour eggs over cheeses and chili mixture.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350°.
- Cut into bars or squares.
- For a spicier appetizer, add cayenne pepper.
