Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boneless chicken breasts (each piece cut into thirds)
  • 1 egg
  • seasoned bread crumbs
  • sliced fresh mushrooms
  • shredded Muenster cheese
  • chicken broth

Method

  • Mix the egg with water (enough water to cover the chicken). Leave chicken in egg mixture for 2 hours or overnight in refrigerator.
  • Dip chicken into seasoned bread crumbs. Saute in margarine until brown.
  • Place in baking pan, single layer.
  • Top each piece with sliced mushrooms and Muenster cheese.
  • Baste each piece with a couple of tablespoons of chicken broth. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes.
