Ingredients

  • 4 whole chicken breasts, split, skinned and boned
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 c. Pepperidge Farm stuffing
  • 1/4 lb. melted butter

Method

  • Place breasts in 9 x 13-inch dish; top each piece with 1/2 cheese slice.
  • Thin soup with 1/2 cup water and pour over chicken. Mix stuffing and melted butter.
  • Sprinkle over chicken.
  • Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325°, covered with foil.
  • Then push dressing into mixture and bake 1/2 hour, uncovered, to brown.
  • Serves 6 to 8.
