- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. venison steaks
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. thyme (if desired)
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. prepared mustard
- dash of Tabasco sauce
Method
- Tenderize steaks with meat hammer.
- (Use meat tenderizer if desired according to directions.)
- Brown steaks in frying pan with extra oil as required.
- Set in small roasting pan and set aside.
