Ingredients

  • 1 frying chicken
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 clove garlic, cut in half
  • 1 c. finely crushed potato chips
  • 1 c. finely crushed corn flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. savory salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Method

  • Remove skin from chicken; wash and drain well.
  • Melt butter with garlic, salt and pepper in medium size pan.
  • Mix potato chips and corn flakes in pie pan.
  • Dip pieces one at a time in melted butter mix, then in crumbs, coating well.
  • Arrange in single layer in large shallow baking pan.
  • Remove garlic from butter and pour remaining over chicken.
  • Bake in moderate oven for one hour.
