Ingredients

  • 10 flour tortillas
  • 1/3 c. light cream (half and half)
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 c. chopped cooked chicken
  • 1 c. salsa (thick 'n chunky)
  • 1 c. dairy sour cream
  • salt to taste
  • 1 1/2 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

Method

  • Make filling by sauteing onion in butter; add chicken. Combine 1 cup salsa and tomato sauce.
  • Add to chicken.
  • Add sour cream and salt.
  • Dip tortillas in milk.
  • Spread filling on tortillas and roll.
  • Place seam side down on baking dish; pour remaining cream over and sprinkle with cheese.
  • Bake at 350° for 20 or 25 minutes.
