Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oats whatever kind you prefer
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal or wheat germ, you don't need to add either of these but I like to for added omega-3 and fiber
  • 1 handful fresh blueberries or frozen if you don't have any fresh ones
  • 1 peanut butter spoonful of
  • 1 cup water or almond milk, I prefer to use this Almond & Coconut Milk blend, it's creamier this way!

Method

  • Follow directions for oatmeal.
  • If I have the time I will prepare on the stove, but most mornings; I nuke the oats in the microwave for a couple of minutes with the almond milk.
  • Add rest of the ingredients and mix; the heat with help melt the peanut butter making it easier to combine. If it is too thick, add more almond milk or water.
