Ingredients
- Minute rice
- 2 large cans (15 oz.) cut up chicken or turkey or use leftovers
- 2 cans cream of broccoli soup
- 2 c. milk
- 3 or 4 slices bread, crumbled
- 1 (16 oz.) bag broccoli and cauliflower
- grated cheese
Method
- Cook broccoli and cauliflower.
- Layer a thin layer of rice on bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- Then layer with chicken. Then layer with broccoli and cauliflower.
- Mix milk with both cans of soup and pour on top of everything (you can add a thin layer of rice before pouring on the soup).
- Sprinkle bread crumbs on top, then cover with grated cheese.
- Bake at 300° for 2 hours.
- (It tastes better when cheese is melted slowly.)
