Ingredients

  • Minute rice
  • 2 large cans (15 oz.) cut up chicken or turkey or use leftovers
  • 2 cans cream of broccoli soup
  • 2 c. milk
  • 3 or 4 slices bread, crumbled
  • 1 (16 oz.) bag broccoli and cauliflower
  • grated cheese

Method

  • Cook broccoli and cauliflower.
  • Layer a thin layer of rice on bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  • Then layer with chicken. Then layer with broccoli and cauliflower.
  • Mix milk with both cans of soup and pour on top of everything (you can add a thin layer of rice before pouring on the soup).
  • Sprinkle bread crumbs on top, then cover with grated cheese.
  • Bake at 300° for 2 hours.
  • (It tastes better when cheese is melted slowly.)
