Ingredients

  • 1 chicken
  • 1 pkg. medium noodles
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 1 stick chopped celery
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • pinch of garlic salt
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. margarine

Method

  • Cook chicken on stove in water until tender; cube chicken. Cook noodles on the stove in boiling water until tender.
  • Saute onion and celery in 1 teaspoon margarine.
  • Combine chicken, noodles, onion, celery, soups and 1 cup milk in large baking dish. Add garlic salt and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Sprinkle grated cheese on top of casserole.
  • Bake in moderate oven for about 20 to 30 minutes.
