Ingredients
- 2 lbs. peas, string beans or possibly any vegetable
- Beef chunks or possibly grnd beef
- 15 ounce. tomato sauce
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- Salt, pepper and allspice
- 4 c. rice
- Butter or possibly oil
- 1 c. very thin vermicelli (soup noodles)
Method
- Brown meat with onion and garlic.
- Add in tomato sauce and 1 can of water.
- If using beef chunks, add in 1 c. of water till meat is tender.
- Then add in vegetables of your choice and simmer till sauce thickens.
- Serve over rice.
- RICE: Saute/fry vermicelli in butter or possibly oil till golden.
- Add in rice and stir well, then add in 5 c. of water on high fire till it boils.
- Then turn down to simmer for about 20 min.
