Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 c. chopped celery
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 c. chopped cooked chicken *
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb dressing
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (can substitute cream of celery)

Method

  • Spread 1/2 of stuffing in 13 x 10-inch casserole.
  • Heat 1/2 cup butter and water.
  • Pour over mixture.
  • Saute onion and celery in 2 tablespoons of butter.
  • Mix chicken, onion, celery, mayonnaise, salt and pepper and spread over stuffing.
