- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 c. chopped celery
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3 c. chopped cooked chicken *
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb dressing
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (can substitute cream of celery)
Method
- Spread 1/2 of stuffing in 13 x 10-inch casserole.
- Heat 1/2 cup butter and water.
- Pour over mixture.
- Saute onion and celery in 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Mix chicken, onion, celery, mayonnaise, salt and pepper and spread over stuffing.
