Ingredients
- 1 c. rice (uncooked old fashion rice, not instant)
- 1/2 pkg. dry onion soup
- 1 cut up fryer
- 1 1/2 cans water
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup or cream of chicken soup
Method
- Place rice in buttered casserole dish.
- Mix soups and water and pour over rice.
- Arrange cut up fryer on top of rice.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper lightly.
- Bake, uncovered, in 350° oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Serve with biscuits and stewed or fried apples.
