Ingredients

  • 3 whole chicken breasts, skin removed
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. slivered almonds
  • 1/2 c. beer
  • 1 small can sliced mushrooms

Method

  • Flour chicken breasts; brown in oil.
  • Put browned chicken in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Combine soup, soy sauce, almonds, beer and mushrooms in a large bowl; beat together, then pour over the chicken.
  • Add salt and pepper.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 1 hour.
  • Baste occasionally.
  • This is good served with rice.
