Ingredients

  • 1 c. white rice
  • chicken pieces
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup or 1 can cream of chicken and 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 c. water

Method

  • Put uncooked white rice in the bottom of a roasting pan or deep baking dish.
  • Place chopped onion on top.
  • Add 1 cup of water.
  • Arrange chicken pieces on top of rice and pour cans of soup over chicken.
  • Bake in 350° oven until chicken is tender, about 1 hour.
