Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds fresh asparagus spears, cleaned
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Dash of pepper
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
Method
- Place cleaned whole asparagus spears in a 12- x 8- x 2-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper; dot with butter. Cover, and bake asparagus at 300° for 30 minutes.
- Serving Suggestions: Baked Fresh Asparagus may be served with Asparagus White Sauce, Cheese Sauce, Drawn Butter, Hollandaise Sauce Supreme, or any sour cream sauce.
