Ingredients
- 1 (8-serving size) pkg. cherry gelatin
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1 1/2 c. chopped apples
- 1/2 c. nuts
- 1 c. chopped celery
- lettuce leaves
- apple slices
Method
- In a large bowl, prepare gelatin with 2 cups of boiling water and 1 cup of cold water.
- Add lemon juice and then chill until partially set.
- Fold in apples, nuts and celery.
- Pour into lightly oiled 6-cup mold or 9-inch square pan.
- Chill 4 to 6 hours.
- Serve on lettuce leaves and garnish with apple slices. Makes approximately 8 to 10 servings.
