Ingredients

  • 2 graham cracker pie crust (or 9x13 pan making your own graham cracker bottom)
  • 1-2 cans of cherry pie filling
  • 2 8oz cream cheese, softened (let set out for a little bit)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups confectioner sugar
  • 1/2 c chopped nuts (optional)
  • cool whip

Method

  • Mix cream cheese, vanilla, and confectioner sugar together.
  • Spread mixture in bottom of pan
  • Sprinkle nuts over mixture (optional -I usually skip this part)
  • Spread cherry pie filling.
  • You can either spread the cool whip on the whole pie now or wait until serving to add a dollop to individual servings. Your choice.
  • Refrigerate.
