Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. margarine
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. walnut meats
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Method

  • Mix margarine, sugar, flour and nuts together to make a crumb mixture.
  • Reserve 1 cup.
  • Press remainder into 8-inch square pan and bake at 305° for 12 to 15 minutes until brown.
  • Let cream cheese soften and mix with other ingredients.
  • Spread over baked crust.
  • Sprinkle with reserved topping.
  • Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
  • Enjoy!
