Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg white, slightly beaten
- pecan halves
Method
- Mix first five ingredients thoroughly until well blended. Roll out on floured board.
- Cut in 1-inch rounds and place on ungreased pan.
- Brush each round with egg white.
- Place part of nut kernel on each.
- Bake at 425° for 10 to 15 minutes.
