Ingredients
- 2 c. milk
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 stick margarine
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1/2 c. coconut
Method
- Mix first 3 ingredients.
- Pour into top of double boiler and heat. Cook until thick and spoon some of this hot mixture over beaten egg yolks; return to pan. Cook 2 minutes longer.
- Add vanilla, margarine and coconut.
- Pour into baked pie shell. Top with meringue.
