Ingredients

  • 4 c. water
  • 2 potatoes, diced
  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 medium onion
  • 4 tsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 4 c. milk
  • 1 c. Cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 large jar Cheez Whiz
  • 1 tsp. pepper

Method

  • Put water, celery and potatoes in large pot; boil 5 minutes. Add milk, broth and soup.
  • Bring back to boil.
  • Saute onion in melted butter.
  • Add flour and mix well.
  • Add to first mixture. Add Cheez Whiz, salt, pepper and mustard.
  • Bring to slow boil and simmer for 45 minutes.
