Ingredients
- 5 to 6 lb. brisket
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 c. catsup
- 1 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- pepper to taste
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. water
Method
- Place brisket on onions and garlic.
- Mix other ingredients; pour over brisket.
- Cover and roast in 350° oven until tender (approximately 4 hours).
- Makes 10 to 12 servings.
- Thicken gravy with flour and water mixture.
