Ingredients
- butter (for sauteing)
- 1 c. each: onion, carrot, potato and celery
- 2 c. broccoli
- 1/2 c. green pepper
- 1 (49 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
- 1/2 c. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 1 (16 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz
Method
- Melt butter in pan; add vegetables and saute until tender. Add broth gradually.
- Add milk to flour, then combine with vegetables and broth in large pot.
- Bring to boil and let thicken for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Add Cheez Whiz and salt and pepper to taste. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Makes 8 generous servings.
