Ingredients
- 3/4 c. biscuit mix
- 1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded sharp cheese
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Method
- Combine first 3 ingredients in a large bowl.
- Set aside. Combine egg, milk and water; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
- Stir in pecans.
- Spoon batter into a lightly greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
- Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Let cool in pan for 10 minutes.
