Ingredients
- 3 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. white corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 c. water
Method
- Combine sugar, water and syrup; stir well.
- Cook to a soft ball stage or 240° on candy thermometer.
- Pour syrup over stiffly beaten egg whites; beat until icing hold its shape.
