Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 pkg. ( 4 oz. each) BAKER'S GERMAN'S Sweet Chocolate
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup half-and-half
  • 1 pkg. (10-1/2 oz.) flavored miniature marshmallows or 12 large marshmallows
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Method

  • Crust: MIX flour and sugar in large bowl.
  • Add butter, mixing with electric mixer on medium speed until blended.
  • Spread onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking pan.
  • Bake at 350F 18 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned; cool.
  • Filling: MELT chocolate and butter in heavy saucepan on very low heat, stirring constantly until just melted.
  • BEAT chocolate mixture, sugar and half-and-half with electric mixer on medium speed until blended.
  • Gently stir in marshmallows and pecans.
  • Pour over crust.
  • Refrigerate several hours.
  • Cut into squares.
  • Microwave Tip: To melt chocolate and butter: Place chocolate, unwrapped and broken in half, and butter in microwavable dish.
  • Microwave on HIGH 1-1/2 to 2 minutes or until almost melted, stirring halfway through heating time.
  • Remove from oven; stir until completely melted.
