Ingredients

  • 16 c. popped corn
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Method

  • Place popped corn in a brown grocery bag.
  • Combine next 4 ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Microwave 2 1/2 minutes; stir well. Boil in microwave for 3 minutes; stir well.
  • Add soda and vanilla; stir very well.
  • Pour over corn in bag.
  • Shake very well. Microwave on High for 1 minute; shake well.
  • Microwave on High for 1 minute; shake well.
  • Microwave on High 1/2 minute; shake well. Microwave on High for 1/2 minute; shake well.
  • Pour onto cookie sheets.
  • Cool and store in airtight container.
