Ingredients

  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1/3 c. maple flavored syrup or dark corn syrup
  • 1/4 c. margarine, melted
  • 8 oz. cream cheese (soft)
  • 1/4 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine (soft)
  • 1/2 c. coconut
  • 2 (10 oz.) cans Hungry Jack biscuits

Method

  • Cream together cream cheese, powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons margarine.
  • Add coconut.
  • Flatten out biscuits; put cream cheese mixture in and press or pinch together.
  • Put seam side down on nut mixture.
  • Bake at 350° until brown.
  • Let set in pan for 3 minutes, then invert onto plate.
