- 1 head Cabbage, Shredded
- 1 lb Ground Turkey ( or beef )
- 1 lb Rogerwood Spicy Sausage (or any smoked sausage)
- 1 each Diced Onion
- 4 each Diced Carrots
- 3 stick Diced Celery
- 1 each Diced Green Bell Pepper
- 2 clove Minced Garlic
- 2 can Diced Tomatoes (14.5oz; or Stewed Tomatoes)
- 14 1/2 oz Water
- 1 cup Uncooked Jasmine Rice (or whatever you prefer)
Method
- In a large stock pot, combine turkey, sausage, onion, celery, garlic and cook on medium high.
- Cook turkey thoroughly.
- Stir in cabbage, tomatoes, water, rice and seasonings.
- Bring to a boil then reduce to medium low, cover and cook about 45 minutes or until rice is done.
