Ingredients
- 1 large head cabbage, shredded
- 1 onion, chopped
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 8 oz. American cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
Method
- Cook cabbage in salt water until tender.
- Drain.
- In large skillet mix soup, onion and cheese until cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in cabbage.
- Pour into an ungreased 2-quart baking dish.
- Lightly brown crumbs in butter.
- Sprinkle on top. Bake uncovered at 350°
- for 20 to 30 minutes.
