Ingredients
- 5 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 c. saltine fine cracker crumbs
- 1 tsp. dill seed
- 2 1/2 lb. cabbage
- 1 tsp. flour (plain)
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 c. American or Cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 oz. pimento, chopped
Method
- Melt 3 tablespoons margarine.
- Add cracker crumbs and dill seed; saute until brown.
- Slice cabbage coarsely.
- Boil until tender, about 10 minutes.
- Drain.
- (Do not overcook.)
- Place cabbage in 8 x 12 x 2-inch baking dish.
