Ingredients
- 4 medium eggs
- 2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Beat eggs with rotary beater in top of double boiler just until blended.
- Stir in brown sugar and butter.
- Place over rapidly boiling water, stirring constantly, until hot or about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Sift together flour and baking powder.
- Add all at once to hot mixture.
- Mix well until blended. Stir in chopped nuts and vanilla.
