Ingredients
- 5 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 lb. butter (room temperature)
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Blend flour and milk together in saucepan.
- Cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly.
- Cool.
- Add butter, sugar, shortening and vanilla.
- Beat with mixer until light and fluffy (about 10 minutes).
- Store in refrigerator for several days or use right away.
