- 3 (3 or 4 lb.) hens
- 4 1/2 lb. lean beef, ground
- 12 (No. 2) cans tomatoes
- 8 (No. 2) cans creamed corn
- 3 lb. onions
- 1 1/2 pt. tomato catsup
- 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 c. liquid smoke
- 2 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. salt
- 5 pods hot pepper or hot sauce to taste
Method
- Cook meats and save broth.
- Cook onions and pepper together and save broth.
- Grind meats after they cool.
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Cook at low heat, stirring frequently as this burns easily.
- For storage, cool before putting into freezer cartons.
- Makes 10 servings.
