Ingredients

  • 3 (3 or 4 lb.) hens
  • 4 1/2 lb. lean beef, ground
  • 12 (No. 2) cans tomatoes
  • 8 (No. 2) cans creamed corn
  • 3 lb. onions
  • 1 1/2 pt. tomato catsup
  • 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 c. liquid smoke
  • 2 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. salt
  • 5 pods hot pepper or hot sauce to taste

Method

  • Cook meats and save broth.
  • Cook onions and pepper together and save broth.
  • Grind meats after they cool.
  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • Cook at low heat, stirring frequently as this burns easily.
  • For storage, cool before putting into freezer cartons.
  • Makes 10 servings.
