Ingredients
- 16 slices white bread, cut off crusts
- 8 slices boiled ham
- 8 slices sharp Cheddar cheese
- 7 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 c. milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 c. corn flake crumbs
- 1 stick melted oleo
Method
- Put 8 slices of buttered bread, butter side down, in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Add ham and cheese. Add other bread slices. Set aside. Combine the eggs, salt, pepper, dry mustard and milk. Pour over bread, cheese and ham.
- Refrigerate overnight (cover with Saran Wrap).
- Next morning, mix corn flake crumbs and oleo. Sprinkle over casserole.
- Bake at 300° for 1 hour.
