Ingredients
- 1 c. butter/margarine
- 4 (1 oz. each) sq. unsweetened chocolate
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. flour (all-purpose)
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. nuts, coarsely chopped
- 1 c. chocolate chips
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Grease 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Bake 40 minutes.
- Cool on wire rack 30 minutes.
- Over low heat, melt butter and chocolate.
- Remove from heat; stir in sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating until blended after each.
- Stir in flour, vanilla and nuts.
- Pour into greased baking dish and top with chocolate chips.
- Check for doneness with a toothpick.
