Ingredients
- 3 egg whites
- dash of salt
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. plain chocolate wafer crumbs
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped
- 1/4 c. sugar
Method
- Beat egg whites and salt until it peaks.
- Add sugar gradually until stiff.
- Fold in crumbs, nuts and vanilla.
- Spread evenly in a lightly buttered pie pan and bake at 325° for about 35 minutes. Do not overbake.
- Fill with whipping cream and 1/4 cup sugar.
