Ingredients
- 1 c. Butter
- 1/2 c. Shortening
- 1 box , (16 ounce) brown sugar
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 5 lrg Large eggs
- 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 3 c. Flour
- 1 c. Lowfat milk
- 2 Tbsp. Vanilla
- 1 c. Pecans, minced
Method
- Cream butter and shortening in a large bowl, gradually add in sugar till light and fluffy.
- Add in Large eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
- Combine baking pwdr and flour add in to creamed mix alternately with lowfat milk, beginning and ending with flour and beating well after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla and pecans.
- Pour into greased and floured 10" tube pan.
- Bake at 350 1 hour and 10 min or possibly till cake tester comes out clean.
- Cold in pan 10 min, invert on wire rack to cold completely.
- Frost with cream cheese frosting.
