Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken, cut up
  • 3 tsp. vinegar
  • 5 tsp. soy sauce
  • 2 bay leaves, crushed
  • 3 gloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 chicken cube or powdered seasoning
  • water to cover
  • salt to taste
  • 3 tsp. cooking oil or sesame oil

Method

  • Wash and drain chicken.
  • In a large bowl, mix vinegar, soy sauce and other ingredients and marinate for 3 to 5 minutes. Transfer to a cooking pot and cook over low heat until the chicken is tender.
  • Add cooking oil or sesame
  • oil. Serve with rice, potatoes or bread.
