Ingredients

  • 1 dozen unshucked oysters
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 3 slices bacon, cut into pieces
  • Dash of paprika

Method

  • Rinse oysters thoroughly in cold water. Shuck oysters, reserving deep half of shells. Arrange oysters in a single layer in a shallow baking pan.
  • Combine sauces; brush oysters with sauce mixture. Place a piece of bacon on each oyster; sprinkle with paprika.
  • Broil 4 inches from heating element 3 to 4 minutes; serve immediately.
