Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Mexican cornbread mix
  • 1 pkg. cornbread mix
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. onion
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 (10 oz.) box frozen broccoli
  • 1 tsp. salt

Method

  • Mix cheese and margarine at room temperature.
  • Add milk and mix well.
  • Add onion, broccoli and eggs, that have been beaten. Mix all of this very well.
  • Next, blend in the bread mixes and pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Bake at 300° for 45 minutes. The bread should be done but not hard.
  • It will be a little soft in the center.
