Ingredients
- 1 (10 oz.) frozen broccoli
- 1/2 c. cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 c. sharp American cheese
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1 beaten raw egg
- 2 Tbsp. fine bread crumbs or crackers
- 1/2 Tbsp. melted margarine
Method
- Cook broccoli according to package directions, omitting salt called for.
- Drain thoroughly.
- Place broccoli in baking dish. Stir together soup and cheese.
- Gradually add milk, mayonnaise and egg, stirring to blend.
- Pour over broccoli.
- Combine crumbs and margarine.
- Sprinkle over soup mixture.
- Bake at 350° until heated and bread crumbs brown, about 35 minutes.
