Ingredients
- 8 slices soft white bread
- 2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 1/2 lb. pork sausage
- 3/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. milk
Method
- Fry sausage; drain and crumble.
- Butter

- 9-inch pan. Tear white bread into bite-size pieces and layer in pan. Layer sausage over bread.
- Combine
- mustard,
- milk
- and
- eggs. Pour over sausage.
- Cover
- and refrigerate overnight.
- Combine cream of mushroom soup
- and milk.
- Pour over casserole.
- Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.
- Let set 15 minutes before serving.
