Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • 3/4 stick oleo
  • 1 1/2 c. Minute rice
  • 1 (10 oz.) frozen broccoli (chopped)
  • 3 oz. can mushrooms, drained (if desired)
  • 2 Tbsp. oleo, melted
  • 1/2 c. very fine crumbs

Method

  • Blend soup and Cheez Whiz and melt in saucepan over low heat. Saute onion, celery and 3/4 stick oleo.
  • Add Minute rice and broccoli.
  • Add soup and cheese mixture; mix all together.
  • Add mushrooms, if desired.
  • Put into greased casserole.
  • Top with 2 tablespoons melted oleo and crumbs.
  • Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
