Ingredients

  • 1 quart. water
  • 12 tea bags
  • 2 quart. cool water
  • 1 c. sugar

Method

  • Heat water to boiling.
  • Have tea bags ready.
  • When water boils, remove water from heat, add in tea bags to water.
  • Steep 5-10 min.
  • Transfer tea bags from warm water to cool water.
  • Add in sugar to warm water.
  • Stir to dissolve.
  • Take tea bags out of cool water.
  • Squeeze excess water from bags.
  • Throw bags away.
  • Add in warm mix to cool mix.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Put in pitcher.
  • (If warm water mix cools too much and sugar won't dissolve, heat mix slightly, not too much, tea will be strong.)
